Never-ending recall now includes 47 million pounds of meat and chicken

You guys, the Great CRF Frozen Foods Recall of 2016 is crushing my spirit. Here I am, yet again informing you of an expansion. Guess what! Now it includes 47 million pounds of meat and chicken products. Isn’t that amazing? Sigh.

It’s not that the meat and chicken are contaminated — it’s that possibly contaminated vegetables have been mixed into products like chicken and rice stir-fry and beef empanadas. Ajinomoto Windsor Inc., which made the products using ingredients from CRF Frozen Foods (what a wicked web our food system is), is recalling the following not-ready-to-eat meat and poultry products. The foods are sold at Trader Joe’s, Costco and other, unnamed stores.
