Adorable farm animals may be the last things you want to think deeply about when visiting your favorite fast food spots — except, of course, if it leads to free food.
Today is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A, and to celebrate, anyone entering a location dressed as a cow to any degree, will score a free entrée. Children will receive a free Kid’s Meal too. And as far as we know, that’s any level of dress, from full-on Halloween garb to a cow-print hair bow.

This is part of the Eat Mor Chikin campaign Chick-fil-A is famous for — by their logic, if you’re appreciating cows (by not eating them), you’re eating more chicken by default. Interesting rationale, but hey, people will let a lot slide in the name of free food.
This is the 13th year Chick-fil-A has done this promotion, and during last year’s they gave out over 1.6 million free meals — so apparently something’s working for them!

This promotion is available all day today (Tuesday, July 11) meaning that if you’re a Chick-fil-A fan who’s looking to save a buck, you might just want to cycle through local locations for your breakfast, lunch and dinner.
