There are a lot of reasons why I love Ava DuVernay, mostly because of her impeccable directing and storytelling. But my newest reason has nothing to do with film or television — it’s the fact that on the set of A Wrinkle In Time, she introduced Oprah Winfrey to her new favorite food: the pretzel dog.

And not just any pretzel dog. Apparently, DuVernay shared an Auntie Anne’s pretzel-wrapped hot dog with the media marvel, and Winfrey was smitten, which makes total sense for a lot of reasons, the first being that Winfrey’s been shilling hard for Weight Watchers and probably hasn’t had a taste of delicious, salty processed food in a while. The second? Well, basically anything you wrap in a pretzel suddenly tastes a million times better, and if you’ve ever walked past an Auntie Anne’s at the mall or a train station, you know from the smell alone that their buttery soft pretzels are in a league of their own.

Add to that a hot dog and you have an umami overload that even Winfrey, who’s probably had some of the best food on Earth, fell for in an instant.
