Taco Bell Is Adding French Fries to Their Menu Soon

When we’re craving some serious comfort food, it’s all about stacking those carbs – and sometimes, yes, that means sticking french fries into a burrito.

Up until this point, though, Taco Bell had not entered the french fry game. With the new year comes new menu items for many fast-food spots, though, and french fries are about to truly become a reality.

Starting Jan. 25, nacho fries will be on the $1 value menu at Taco Bell, and they promise to be seasoned with “bold Mexican seasoning” and come with a side of cheese dipping sauce. Should you want to go truly bold, though, upgrade to a supreme ($2.49) or Bell Grande ($3.49) and get your seasoned nacho fries smothered with ground beef, sour cream, pico de gallo and more melted cheese.

The nacho fries were tested last year in the West Virginia and Bakersfield, California, markets as part of a french fry-stuffed burrito. Of course, now the reality is even better than the test scenario because those fries can go into any menu item you want. We fully plan on the burrito option though.

As all the fast-food chains continue to fight for customers via value and dollar menus, it’s no surprise chains are adding increasingly exciting value items to their menus. We can’t wait to see what someone comes up with next.
