We’re at a time when everything that was old is new again. Roseanne is back on the airwaves 20 years later, a bunch of our favorite ’90s Disney movies are being remade, and one of the stars of Sex and the City is possibly going to be governor of New York City. And now, we can get excited about one lime-flavored blast from the past.
A tropical soda beverage we once knew and loved, Mtn Dew BajaBlast, will be rereleased in bottles and cans for a limited time only beginning April 23 — for the first time in two years.

“Summer’s Most Wanted flavor is back, and it’s all thanks to the tireless efforts of DEW Nation,” said Chauncey Hamlett, senior director of marketing for Mountain Dew, in a press release. “We were overwhelmed by all of the love we saw on social media and other channels, so we worked hard to bring back MTN DEW BAJABLAST.”
The soda, which was originally released in 2004 exclusively to Taco Bell, went on to become a cult favorite. When it disappeared, people on social media kind of freaked out a bit and have been clamoring for its return since.

BajaBlast will be available at stores nationwide in 20-ounce bottles and 12-packs of 12-ounce cans as well as additional multipack sizes, but only for a limited time (no word on how limited that limited time will be), so you may want to stock up while you can.
