And now and then, Costco introduces a sweet treat so stunning, so decadent, that we know we absolutely have to try it. We’re not alone when it comes to falling head over heels for unexpected sweets that pop up in the bakery. CostcoGuide on TikTok just revealed that they recently tried Costco’s new Tiramisu Cheesecake, and after seeing their review, this new dessert just skyrocketed to the top of our grocery list. If you don’t have a Costco membership yet, this might be what convinces you.
Costco’s new Tiramisu Cheesecake captures the flavors of the Italian dessert tiramisu, which is usually made with coffee-soaked lady finger cookies that are layered with a rich mascarpone cream and dusted with cocoa powder. The cheesecake version at Costco is made with a cocoa graham cracker crust, a cold brew coffee cheesecake filling, and a whipped mascarpone topping. It’s even got the signature dusting of cocoa powder on top.
Instagrammer @CostoHotFinds shared that it’s “unlike any dessert” she’s ever had, saying “that’s insane” and “that is so good” after trying a bite. “The top is a light fluffy mascarpone and the crust is a mix of graham and cocoa.” It’s also hearty. Each cheesecake weighs in at about 4 pounds, so it’s a great option if you are hosting a party or celebration and need dessert for a crowd. You can also cut the cheesecake into slices and freeze them, so you can thaw the cheesecake one slice at a time as the cravings hit. See, now the “there’s no way we could finish it” excuse is out the window!
Costco’s Tiramisu Bar Cake is one of the most delicious desserts in the Costco bakery section, and the store has sold interesting cheesecake flavors before, like Bailey’s Irish Cream cheesecake.
