It’s a struggle moms know all too well — your kid refuses to eat the delicious meal you’ve cooked. So, what do you do when you can’t get your child to eat? You DIY a restaurant menu, of course.
At least that’s exactly what mom of the year and future children’s cookbook authorChrissy Teigen did for her 2-1/2-year-old daughter, Luna.
“I have a problem,” Teigen says in a video posted to her Twitter on Tuesday, captioning the tweet, “I made a restaurant for my 2-1/2-year-old.”

Flipping through the laminated menu, Teigen reveals all the dishes on Luna’s personalized menu, including cereal with bananas, grilled cheese, a cheese quesadilla, crispy fish sticks, chicken tenders, chicken spaghetti and — saving the best for last — ham and cheese “Lunables.” Unfortunately for Luna, Teigen’s famous banana bread is nowhere to be found on the menu.
Does it get any cuter than this? Yes, yes, it does.
Each page not only includes a photo, but also a description of each dish (“with your choice of dip-dip” for crispy fish sticks is our personal favorite) and a price, with the à la carte items ranging from $3 to $5 dollars. Yup, she’s charging her kid for this fancy service.

The words “trying to get Luna to eat by being psychotic” are stamped onto the video, but what we want to know is, did it work? Because, hey, we’ll try anything once.
One commenter asked another valid question too: What happens if you run out of certain sides? Can Luna request that the restaurant suggest alternatives?
what happens if you run out of, say, berries for the grilled cheese’s side? will she be able to request the restaurant suggests alternatives? or ask for money off the bill?

While we eagerly await an update from Teigen, we will be testing the hack out for ourselves. Thanks for the tip, Chrissy!
