If any company has gone above and beyond to spread holiday cheer this year, it’s Starbucks. Take their holiday merch, for example. Starbucks not only released two colorful reusable cup sets — one for hot beverages, one for cold, and all printed with cute holiday-appropriate phrases, like “roasty and toasty” and “merry coffee” — but they also released a five-cup set of brightly colored tumblers for cold drinks, a “hand warmer” mug, and Mercury Flake cold cups. And while we thought they couldn’t possibly spread more cheer, Starbucks has announced they’re giving away free espresso beverages at more than 1,000 Pop-Up Parties at the end of the month.
Starbucks’ Pop-Up Parties will take place at more than 200 select Starbucks stores in the U.S. from 1 to 2 p.m. local time on Dec. 27 through Dec. 31. At these Pop-Up Parties, customers will receive a free tall handcrafted espresso beverage of their choice — hot or iced. Beverages include Peppermint Mochas, Iced Toasted White Chocolate Mochas, lattes, macchiatos and more; and it’s limited to one free drink per customer.
So, which stores, exactly, will host these anticipated Pop-Up Parties? We wish we could tell you. Locations will change daily, so you’ll want to bookmark and visit Starbucks’ Pop-Up Party site each day to view the next day’s list of locations.
In the meantime, you can always take a quick trip to your nearby grocery store to restock on Starbucks’ holiday products, like peppermint mocha ground coffee and creamer, Holiday Spice Cold Brew Pitcher Packs, cookie straws, and more. Because once the peppermint mocha products are gone, you’ll have to wait a whole ‘nother year to indulge in one of Starbucks’ most popular flavors (second to pumpkin spice, of course).
