It’s official: summer is on its way out. How do we know? Well, for one, the turning of the calendar pages. But most telling is the onslaught of fall foods we’re experiencing at every store we go to. PSLs are back at Starbucks and Dunkin’, autumnal favorites are popping up at Trader Joe’s, and we just found out that Costco’s iconic pumpkin pies are back in stores, too. Now, another fall favorite has returned to the big box store we all know in love: double-crust apple pie is back at Costco, and it’s here earlier than ever.

This apple pie did not come to mess around and weighs an impressive 4 pounds (which could quite literally knock out the competition). For reference, this pie weighs about the same as your standard Macbook Pro Laptop (yes, we Googled it).

The iconic pie was spotted back in stores by Costco fan account @Costco.So.Obsessed on Instagram. writing: “Grab this apple pie for your Labor Day weekend and serve it with some vanilla ice cream!” We never associated Labor Day with apple pie before, but hey, if Costco wants to make that a new tradition we are so on board.

Best of all: This amazing Thanksgiving treat is just $12.99. With flavorful organic apples, cinnamon, and a flaky golden crust, it’s a lot easier than making a gigantic pie from scratch. Any time someone else is peeling the apples, we’re excited.

Costco’s bakery is home to many of our favorite items, and this newest creation is sure to be a hit this autumn, so make sure you get yours now. Not a Costco member? Sign up for a membership now, so you can get the best deals on all of your holiday shopping when presents start popping up in store.
