Garlic lovers — this one is for you. Costco just added a new bread to the bakery lineup and it’s packed with cloves of roasted garlic and grated parmesan. It’s going to become your go-to for those grilled cheese and tomato soup days (and any other day where a slice of bread may be on the menu). It’s just that delicious.
“Costco just brought out Roasted Garlic Parmesan bread at their bakery and this is quite possibly the best bread I’ve ever had in my life,” Laura from the Costco Hot Finds Instagram account said in a recent post. “The crust is slightly crisp and the inside is pillowy soft. I topped mine with a little butter. This dipped in tomato soup would be a meal.”
The large loaf is just $7.99, which means you can grab one to eat and grab another to freeze because you’ll be craving this bread long after eating your last slice.
Besides the parmesan and full-size cloves of roasted garlic (yum!), this loaf also contains a good helping of black pepper, which gives it a bit of a kick and leaves some heat after you take a bite. “If you like pepper you’ll love this!” one person commented on Laura’s post. “It does have a peppery kick at the end and lingers there.”
And those who have tried it can confirm that this bread is superior to really any other bread they’ve tried. “It’s so good!” one person said, with another adding, “Bought this a couple [of] weeks ago and my house smelled amazing for days!”
Others say this is the best bread for making grilled cheese sandwiches. “Make a grilled cheese with it with provolone cheese — Starbucks dupe,” one commenter suggested. Another said that the grilled cheeses they make with this bread are one word: “epic.”
“That would be sooo good toasted for [a] meatball sandwich or serve [it] with spaghetti or ravoli!” someone else suggested. And another commenter noted that this loaf also makes “fabulous” croutons. The ways you can eat this bread are truly endless.
Head to your local Costco ASAP to pick up a loaf of Roasted Garlic Parmesan bread to treat your tastebuds to something utterly delicious.
