Hot Drink Safety

Before letting kids get started on whipping up their own hot drink, parents should ensure that youngsters know how to use the microwave oven safely and that they know which cups are safe to use in a microwave. Some cups have elements that spark, while others can melt. Parents and children alike also need to remember to use caution – hot cups and hot liquids can really burn – and put a chill on cooking enthusiasm!
