Nonalcoholic party drinks for moms-to-be

Just because you are a mom-to-be doesn’t mean you can’t join in the party fun. Though drinking alcohol is off-limits for a while, you can still sip something festive and refreshing. Here are three party drink recipes for your celebratory enjoyment.

Party drinks for moms-to-be

Tropical Punch

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
2 ounces grenadine
8 ounces pineapple juice
8 ounces orange juice

Directions:
In a cocktail shaker, shake all ingredients with crushed ice. Strain into margarita or highball glasses. Garnish with cherries, pineapple slices and orange slices.

Citrus Cooler

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
4 ounces lemon juice
4 ounces lime juice
8 ounces orange juice
4 ounces coconut cream or coconut milk
4 teaspoons grenadine
4 teaspoons almond syrup

Directions:
Blend all ingredients together in a blender with ice. Pour mixture into wine glasses. Garnish with orange slices, cherries and fresh coconut shavings or toasted coconut flakes.

Soda Spritzer

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
8 ounces grape juice
4 ounces lemon juice
2 teaspoons very fine sugar
32 ounces cream soda

Directions:
Shake grape juice, lemon juice and sugar in a shaker with crushed ice. Strain mixture into highball glasses half filled with ice cubes. Top with soda and stir.
