Handheld stick blenders make easy work of pureeing soups right in the pot, making milkshakes and smoothies, and mixing other liquid-based ingredients. The Braun MR 5550 also makes easy work of chopping, crushing ice and whipping cream or eggs. (Making mud pies isn’t recommended.)
