Take-home place cards
Make your party favor work double duty as a place card. Scour dollar or discount store shelves for cute, small picture frames. Cut paper to fit inside the frames and write each guest’s
name on one. Then, set them out at the tables as place cards. They do not all have to be the same. In fact, guests can have fun swapping.
Luck of the draw
If you are hosting a poker or game night, send each guest home with a goodie bag filled with a few dice and a pack of playing cards.
Holiday candle
Decorate a pillar candle with holiday decals or seasonal flowers such as mini silk poinsettia. Mark the spot on the candle where you wish to put your decals/flowers, lay them on one at a time, and
push a brad or pin through the decal and into the candle.
Customized candy bar
Everyone loves chocolate, so you can’t go wrong with a candy bar. Make your own labels on the computer, cut them to size, and affix them onto the candy bar (ditch the brand’s paper wrapper, but
keep the foil on). Include the date and name of your event or or other details, depending on the type of party you’re hosting. If you don’t want to make these yourself, lots of companies online
make personalized chocolate bar wrappers for all occasions.
Personalized votive candle
Pick up a bunch of glass votive candles at the dollar store. Create labels on the computer (or by hand if you’re crafty), and affix the labels to the glass with a hot glue gun.
