Buffalo chicken dip
(serves 12)
Just like buffalo wings but easier to eat!
Ingredients:
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup pepper sauce (such as Frank’s Red Hot)
1 cup blue cheese salad dressing
2 cups diced cooked chicken
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
2 tablespoons minced chives
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, stir together the cream cheese and hot pepper sauce until well blended. Mix in the blue cheese dressing, chicken and cheddar cheese. Spread into a 9- by 13-inch baking dish.
2. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven. If oil has pooled on the surface of your dip, use a paper towel to blot it off. Sprinkle with blue cheese crumbles and chives, and serve immediately.
*Suggested dippers: Celery sticks, pretzel rods, crackers
