Try something different this summer and throw a cowboy-themed party. What could be better way to celebrate a summer birthday, Father’s Day, Memorial Day or Independence Day than with a party honoring one of the West’s oldest institutions – the working cowboy? So go ahead and round up the cowpokes and buckaroos for a how down to remember.
Here’s everything you need for a fun-filled cowboy celebration. Yee haw!
Decorations
Naturally, cowboy hats, jeans and boots are the preferred western garb, so ask your guests to dress for the occasion. For the table, use red and blue bandanas as placemats and napkins and choose western decorations like lassos, hay bales, and miniature cowboy boots to decorate. Many online party supply companies have complete western decorating kits to help get everyone in the right mood, right down to western-themed plates, napkins and cups.
