A tablescape is more than just a centerpiece. Tablescapes dress up the dining table, sideboard, coffee table, or just about any other surface in your home as well as its surroundings. They use carefully chosen items and elements that work together to create a beautifully harmonious design. Check out these gorgeous holiday tablescapes that we love.
Luxurious glamour
Laura Umansky of Laura U Design Studio, along with Regina Dorsett of Twins Design Christmas, created this gorgeous holiday tablescape at the home of Calvin and Jill Schlenker.
This tablescape was featured in the “Houston Chronicle” last Christmas. This tablescape is definitely luxurious with its 300 roses, dripping crystals, Waterford goblets, and metallic reindeer. The gold walls of the Schlenker’s dining room and wild zebra print chairs were perfect for this high-glam look.
Pear-fectly pretty
This French trestle dining table was accented with brown pears, white roses, and olive branches. The vintage linens and antique dinnerware make this tablescape lovely.
This tablescape was created by designer Megan Talley for the home of Dr. Devinder and Gina Bhatia and was featured in the “Houston Chronicle.”
Home for the holidays
This design was seen on Between Naps on the Porch, which features some truly amazing tablescapes. The lighted houses are from the Dept. 56 Snow Village Collection that the owner has had for more than 15 years. The tablescape also features Lenox Holiday china, Towle King Richard flatware, Waterford stemware, Martha Stewart napkins, and other beautiful touches.
Colorfully simple
Though we spotted this tablescape a few years ago, it’s still a favorite because of its vibrant colors and sweet simplicity. This table features items from Pottery Barn, but you can find similar items even cheaper at your local dollar store.
The tall glass vases are filled with limes and red ornaments for bold color. The red chairs are what really makes this look. If your chairs aren’t red, you can always add red seat cushions or chair covers during the holidays.
Mesmerizing metallics
The holiday season isn’t all about red and green. This stunning tablescape features gorgeous copper colors and other metallics, along with pine cones, greenery, and candles.
The best part of this tablescape is that Thrifty Decor Chick shows you how to create it yourself in her fabulous tutorial.
