Perhaps one of the most powerful food authorities who changed America’s eating habits for the worst, Jim Skinner is the head of the world’s largest hamburger chain in the world. McDonald’s buys almost a billion dollars’ worth of American beef annually and, surprisingly, the largest purchaser of apples in the US (at least we know that customers are getting at least one serving of fruit a day).
