Nutella Swirl Cheesecake
Makes 16 servings
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 32 ounces cream cheese
- 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 (13 ounce) jar Nutella
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine Oreo crumbs, 3 tablespoons sugar and 1/3 cup butter in small mixing bowl. Gently press mixture onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan lined with parchment paper.
- In the bowl of a mixer, beat cream cheese, remaining sugar and vanilla with mixer until well blended. Stir in sour cream and beat until smooth. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Divide batter in two parts. Mix Nutella into half of the batter. Pour both batters over crust and swirl with a spoon for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 55 minutes or until center appears set when gently shaken. Loosen cake from rim of pan and cool. Refrigerate 4-5 hours before serving.
Nutella Stuffed French Toast
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients
- 12 slices French bread or challah
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons cane sugar
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Directions
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla and sugar to make the French Toast batter.
- Generously spread Nutella on 6 slices of bread. Place the remaining slices of bread on top, making Nutella sandwiches.
- Dip the Nutella sandwiches gently into the batter.
- In a large skillet, fry each sandwich in butter on both sides for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm.
Nutella Hot Chocolate
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1-2 tablespoons Nutella
- 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder
- Dash of cocoa powder
- Dollop fresh whipped cream
Directions
- In a small saucepan, over medium heat, whisk milk, Nutella and espresso powder until combined.
- Pour into your favorite mug and serve with a dusting of cocoa powder and a dollop of fresh whipped cream.
Frozen Banana Almond Nutella Pops
Makes 16 servings
Ingredients
- 8 bananas
- 13 ounce jar of Nutella
- 16 popsicle sticks
- 1 cup crushed almonds
- Parchment paper
Directions
- Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Insert a popsicle stick into center of each banana, being careful not to tear the fruit.
- Place the bananas on the sheet pan and into the freezer for one hour.
- When bananas are firm, heat the Nutella in a double boiler until melted and smooth.
- Dip each frozen banana into Nutella and coat evenly. Then roll the banana pop in crushed almonds. Place on baking sheet and return to freezer.
- Wait for another hour and enjoy!
Chocolate Chip Banana Cupcakes with Nutella Frosting
Makes 18 servings
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 package mini chocolate chips
- 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 cup Nutella
- 8 ounces powdered sugar
Directions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Cream butter and sugar in mixer. Stir in eggs, vanilla, crushed bananas and buttermilk.
- Add flour mixture and stir well.
- Mix in chocolate chips.
- Fill muffin tins two-thirds full.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cupcakes to cool on a wire rack.
- While cupcakes are cooling, mix cream cheese and Nutella in a medium mixing bowl. Add powdered sugar gradually and beat until frosting is smooth and creamy.
- After cupcakes have cooled, frost cupcakes with Nutella frosting.
