Korean Pork Ribs
Makes 4 to 6 servings
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup minced green onions
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 pounds pork ribs, bone-in
Directions
- Combine water with soy sauce, green onions, brown sugar, ginger, oil, salt, pepper, and sesame seeds.
- Place ribs in a large bowl and pour marinade over the top, making sure all the ribs are covered.
- Cover ribs with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for at least 12 hours or up to 24 hours.
- When ready to cook, heat grill to medium and remove ribs from marinade (discarding extra liquid). Place ribs on grill and close lid; grill ribs 15 to 20 minutes before flipping and grilling another 15 to 20 minutes, or until fully cooked through. Temperature should be at least 155 degrees F. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Sweet & Spicy Dry Rubbed Beef Ribs
Makes 4 to 6 servings
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon chile powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 pounds bone-in beef ribs
Directions
- Combine brown sugar, cayenne pepper, paprika, mustard, cumin, chili powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Add ribs and coat well; let ribs marinade for 12 hours in the refrigerator.
- When ribs are ready to cook, heat grill to medium; place ribs on grill and close lid; grill ribs 15 to 20 minutes before flipping and grilling another 15 to 20 minutes, until fully cooked through or until temperature is 145 degrees F. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Boneless BBQ Ribs
Makes 4 to 6 servings
- 1 cup of your favorite bbq sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups of your favorite dark beer
- 2 pounds boneless short ribs (beef or pork)
Directions
- Whisk bbq sauce with brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and beer.
- Place marinade in a large bowl and add ribs; let ribs marinade for 12 hours in the refrigerator.
- When ribs are ready to cook, heat grill to medium; place ribs in aluminum foil and wrap well, then place packet on grill and close lid; grill ribs 40 to 50 minutes, or until fully cooked through (time will vary depending on whether you use pork or beef ribs). Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
