Honey-mustard is usually reserved for chicken tender dips and salad dressings. But it turns out that the sauce also makes a delicious glaze for barbecuing chicken.
Mustard is that delicious condiment that’s great on burgers, hot dogs, corned beef sandwiches… pretty much any dish where meat is the main course. And it comes in so many flavors: spicy, deli, Dijon, honey, horseradish… the flavors seem to be endless. With so many options out there, it’s ideal to use as a glaze for grilling chicken. Yes, barbecue sauce is the more common choice when it comes to grilling poultry, but why limit yourself? A honey-mustard sauce pairs nicely with the saltiness of the chicken and makes for a lip-smacking alternative when grilling outdoors.
