By this time of the month, there’s no doubt that your kids have already amassed a stockpile of Halloween candy. Raid their stash and get into the Halloween spirit with these miniature candy-infused cocktails. No tricks here — just boozy treats!
Sparkling candy corn-infused vodka cocktail
Candy corn in vodka form? It doesn’t get much better than that, until you make it sparkle!
Yields 1
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce candy corn-infused vodka (see below)
- 1 ounce dry sparkling wine
- Ice
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Stir gently to chill. Strain into a miniature martini glass or tall shot glass.
Orange Skittles-infused vodka cocktail
Like a Creamsicle, only better (and boozier).
Yields 1
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce orange Skittles-infused vodka (see below)
- 1/2 ounce vanilla vodka
- 1 teaspoon Cool Whip
- Ice
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Shake to chill. Strain into a miniature martini glass or tall shot glass.
Sour Patch Kids-infused vodka cocktail
For those sweet-and-sour lovers, this cocktail puts a little pucker on your face.
Yields 1
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 ounces Sour Patch Kids-infused vodka (see below)
- 1/2 ounce blood orange soda
- Ice
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Stir gently to chill. Strain into a miniature martini glass or tall shot glass.
Candy-infused vodka
To make candy-infused vodka, place 1/2 cup of candy into a glass jar. Pour 1/2 cup of vodka over the candy. Seal jar and let sit at least 24 hours, shaking occasionally. Strain vodka when ready to use and discard any solids. (For Sour Patch Kids-infused vodka, use only red, yellow and orange candy for optimal color.)
Yields about 3/4 cup for candy corn vodka, 2/3 cup for orange Skittles vodka, 1/2 cup for Sour Patch Kids vodka.
