- 1/2 cup brown sugar

- 1-3/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- Pinch salt
- 2/3 cup miniature chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer add the butter and both kinds of sugar. Beat until well combined, about 3 minutes. Add the egg and vanilla, mix well.
- In a separate bowl stir together the flour, baking powder, cornstarch, salt and chocolate chips. Sprinkle the flour mixture into the stand mixer bowl. Gently stir until combined.
- Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a small spoon, drop about 1 teaspoon of the dough at a time on the baking sheet. Press lightly with the back of the spoon to flatten a bit.
- Bake for about 8 minutes or until golden brown.
