Photo plates for edible art

Turn your dinner or party plates into funny faces, fun for entertaining the kiddos!

A simple photo sandwiched between white and clear plastic plates becomes a clever canvas for edible art. They’re perfect for birthday parties and family reunions, but you can serve up a smile any night of the week with these on the table. Plus, all you have to do is wash the the top plate, and you can use them over and over.

  • Photos, printed on plain white paper

Instructions:

1

Print out photos

Take photos of your family or friends, size them at least 5 inches tall and print them out on plain white paper. (I made my images black and white, but I’m sure color photos would look great, too.)

2

Cut out each face shape

3

Assemble the plates

Secure face cutouts on white plates with rolled pieces of tape. Put the clear plastic plate on top.
