Tofurky– This “bird” has been around for a while but don’t count it out just because it’s not brand spankin’ new. While the taste and texture of this vegan roast may seem like a relic, it’s still by all means a delicious centerpiece, and what’s more the “Tofurky Feast” comes with my favorite thanksgiving treat, Cranberry-Apple Potato Dumplings, try to eat just one of them, I dare you!
Field Roast – Field Roast actually provides two different vegan roast options, although one is special to just the holidays. First you have the classic celebration roast, which hands down is one of my favorite dinners any time of the year. In addition Field Roast is rolling out in mass quantity their Stuffed Hazlenut Cranberry Roast just for the holidays. Gardein – Gardein has come out with their own seasonal Stuffed Turk’y cutlets. I must admit that I have yet to try these, but hope to remedy that soon. However I do have reservations about using these as a centerpiece for thanksgiving considering they’re an item best sautee’d which to me doesn’t have the same feel as something you roast in your oven with your favorite combination of vegetables and juices.
