Each year is a personal quest for Zuckerberg

According to CNN, Zuckerberg posted on his private Facebook page that every year he takes on a yearly personal challenge to explore different things that he wouldn’t normally do. This year’s personal challenge is to be more thankful for what he has, and he has decided to be more thankful to the animals that have given their lives in order for him to eat. He has committed to eating only the animals he’s personally killed.

Killing, eating, sharing

The Ecorazzi reported that Zuckerberg may be killing the animals, but he is not “slicing them up on the back porch.” Rather, he is dropping the animals off at a local butchershop for processing before he brings them home and eats them with his girlfriend. Though he is learning how to kill, it isn’t known whether or not he’s sticking around to see what happens to the animals post-slaughter.

Eating vegetarian is a step closer to veganism

Since Zuckerberg isn’t out on the hunt every day, his diet has become more plant-based. He confirmed in a letter to Fortune that he and his girlfriend have basically become vegetarian. Is it possible that the CEO of Facebook will eventually go vegan? Stay tuned to see if killing his own food changes his perspective on the foods he eats.
