Ingredients:

- 1 pound whole wheat fettuccini
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 cups coarsely chopped green or black olives
- 3 tablespoons capers
- 1 (32-ounce) can chunky style crushed tomatoes
- 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1/4 cup finely chopped flat leaf parsley
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions:

- Cook pasta according to package directions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain in a colander.
- Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook, stirring, for 1 to 2 minutes.
