One of our favorite parts about summer (besides the nice weather and relaxation, of course) is all of the delicious and refreshing treats we nosh on to cool ourselves down on those scorching hot days. Ice cream, smoothies, sparkling waters — they more than make up for the scorshing temperatures outside. And naturally, when we need to stock up on summery treats we head to our favorite store: Costco.
Costco is basically our one-stop summer shop (the air conditioning in-store is pretty amazing, too). Between their great patio furniture deals and all of the enticing summer treats we’re about to show you, there’s really not much of a reason to shop anywhere else. If you don’t have a membership yet, what are you waiting for? The benefits are endless. Just take a look at these irresistible summer treats and try telling us they’re not worth the price of a membership.
Island Way Sorbet
Island Way Sorbet went viral on TikTok, and it’s easy to see why. Each refreshing flavor of sorbet comes served in a fruit bowl, which makes it feel fancy, and the four flavors — Heavenly Coconut, Ruby Red Berry, Passionate Mango, and Zesty Pomegranate — are delish.
Deebee’s Organics Superfruit Freeze Pops
Deebee’s Organics Superfruit Freeze Pops are a naturally sweet way to cool off on hot summer days. They’re made with organic juices and other ingredients, have just five grams of naturally-occurring sugar and no added sugars in each pop, and the variety pack includes three yummy flavors: strawberry lemon, mango orange, and blueberry pomegranate.
San Pellegrino Essenza Flavored Mineral Water Variety Pack
We’re big seltzer heads around these parts, but San Pellegrino’s Essenza Sparkling Mineral Water might be even better. And you won’t find these flavors from other brands: Dark Morello Cherry & Pomegranate, Blood Orange & Black Raspberry, and Tangerine & Wild Strawberry.
Binggrae Melona Fruit Bars
Looking for a sweet treat that’s a little more interesting than your usual fare? Try Binggrae’s Melona Fruit Bars. The square-angle shape of these pops makes them oddly satisfying to eat, and the creamy fruit flavors (honeydew melon, coconut, and mango) will make you feel like you’re on vacation.
Kirkland Signature Super Premium Vanilla Ice Cream
Costco’s Kirkland Signature Super Premium Vanilla Ice Cream is a cult-favorite for a reason. It tastes like a gourmet brand, but you can get it for less at Costco, and it’s perfect for everything from ice cream sundaes to fruit desserts a-la-mode.
Nestle Ice Cream Variety Pack
If your kids (or you!) are constantly hemorrhaging money when the ice cream truck rolls by in the summer, Costco can help. Get yourself a 40-count box of Nestle ice cream favorites, including ice cream sandwiches, Drumsticks, and chocolate-coated ice cream bars, and each treat will cost you less than 60 cents a pop.
Liquid I.V. Hydration Multiplier
When you’re hanging out in the sun all day, either sun-bathing at the beach, swimming laps in the pool, working on the garden, or simply trying to exist when it’s 90+ degrees out, it’s important to stay hydrated. With Liquid I.V., you can add electrolytes and vitamins to you water bottle in an instant, so you don’t lose your energy.
Oreo Frozen Sandwiches
What’s better than Oreos dunked in milk? Use the Oreos to sandwich some delicious cookies’n’cream ice cream filling, and you’ll know. You can get a 24-pack of these fun summer treats at Costco.
Kirkland Signature Organic Coconut Water
It can sometimes feel fruitless to look for high-quality coconut water at the store, but Costco has you covered. Their Kirkland Signature Organic Coconut Water has no added sugar, is not from concentrate, and will help you stay cool and hydrated on hot summer days.
Dole Whip Pineapple Cups
If you can’t make it to Disney this summer, these Dole Whip Pineapple Cups might just be the next best thing. You can enjoy them as-is, or use them as the base for fun tropical smoothies and summer drinks all season long.
Cold Brew Coffee
Hot coffee in the summer just won’t cut it. This cold brew comes in convenient (and recyclable!) cans and tastes just as good as homemade cold brew.
Pistachio gelato
Gelato. Need we say more?
Mochi
If you haven’t hopped on the mochi ice cream trend yet, what are you waiting for? A sweet, chewy layer of mochi gives way to a creamy, cool ice cream interior. Try a variety pack that comes in three mouth-watering flavors to cool you down on a hot day, or try their single-flavor boxes of vanilla, strawberry, or chocolate.
Chocolate almond-dipped bars
These taste better than anything your local ice cream truck offers.
