The only thing Americans seem to love more than their favorite celebrities is ice cream, but there’s a surprising amount of overlap between the two.
Ben & Jerry’s has always been known for its unique and cleverly named flavors, including several that were inspired by television stars, musicians and athletes.
But they’re not the only ones who’ve thought to name their ice creams after celebrities — and as fans of ice cream and celebrities, what better way to celebrate National Ice Cream month (July!) than by trying the best ice creams named after famous people?

Ben & Jerry’s co-founder Ben Cohen created unofficial flavor Bernie’s Yearning in 2016.
Late Night Snack
Late Night Snack was created in honor of Jimmy Fallon, who hosted Late Night from 2009 to 2014.
The Tonight Dough
This flavor was created to celebrate Fallon’s current role as host of The Tonight Show.
AmeriCone Dream
This flavor was inspired by the former host of The Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert.
Scotchy Scotch Scotch
Ron Burgundy of Anchorman would be pleased with this ice cream named for his favorite drink.
Liz Lemon
This light and lemony froyo was inspired by Liz Lemon, played by Greek-American Tina Fey.
Imagine Whirled Peace
Ben & Jerry’s added special fudge peace signs to represent John Lennon, who inspired this flavor.
Cherry Garcia
A favorite among ice cream lovers, Cherry Garcia was named after Jerry Garcia of The Grateful Dead.
Magic Brownies
To encourage saving the environment, Ben & Jerry’s partnered with Dave Matthew’s Band to create Magic Brownies.
Maple Blondie
Another limited-edition flavor, Maple Blondie was created in honor of champion snowboarder Hannah Teter.
Yes Pecan
Ben & Jerry’s created this flavor in honor of Barack Obama’s famous slogan.
Ruth Bader Ginger
A Change.org petition is calling on Ben & Jerry’s to create this flavor honoring Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
Bob Marley’s One Love
This limited-edition pint features banana ice cream, caramel and graham crackers and fudge peace signs.
Peach Melba
