When you’re constantly on the go, eating three nutritious, well-rounded meals each day can feel downright impossible. You barely have enough time to go pick up that bottle of bodywash from Target — how in the world are you expected to dedicate an hour to make dinner? That’s where meal prepping comes into play.
Prepping your meals ahead of time can save you loads of time (and stress!) during the week. It’s easy too. U.S. Olympic sports nutrition consultant Mike Israetel’s shortcut is to “keep it simple and stick with cooking up a single protein source, a single veggie and a single healthy carb at a time,” he tell SheKnows. “Make enough for two or three days at a time and prep each meal right then and there when it’s done.”
That said, we went straight to the pros — food bloggers — who gave us even more meal-prep tips for a delicious, stress-free week.
