3. Homemade ginger ale recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
- 1 liter club soda
Directions:
- Peel some fresh ginger root, and cut it into small slices until you have a cup’s worth.
- In a saucepan, combine the ginger, sugar and water, and simmer for about 10 minutes, until the sugar dissolves.
- Strain the syrup, and allow it to cool.
- Add it to 1 liter of club soda.
- Serve.
