5 Chocolate recipes to start your summer off sweet

5. Dark chocolate-dipped crispy rice pops

Serves: 18

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 10 ounces small marshmallows
  • 6 cups rice cereal
  • 2 (3.5 ounce) Green & Black’s Organic 70% Dark Chocolate bars, melted
  • 1/4 cup red sprinkles, blue sprinkles and white sprinkles
  • 18 ice pop sticks

Directions:

  1. Melt the butter and marshmallows in a pan; once thoroughly melted, add the 6 cups of cereal and stir.
  2. Place cereal mixture in a greased 9 x 9-inch pan, press flat with greased spatula.
  3. Once hardened, cut into 3 x 1-1/2-inch sections.
  4. Melt chocolate in a deep bowl.
  5. Dip tip of ice pop stick into chocolate and insert into crispy square pieces so ice pop stick will stick to pieces to form pops.
  6. Dip 1-1/2 inches of the cereal pops into the chocolate and add sprinkles.
