2. Guinness dark chocolate brownies recipe
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsweetened dark cocoa powder
- 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate (70% or higher cacao), chopped
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
- 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup Guinness
- 1 stick butter
- 3 eggs
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place butter and chopped chocolate in a large heat-proof bowl, set over a saucepan of simmering water and melt until smooth.
- Remove bowl from heat and whisk in sugar.
- Whisk in egg, dark cocoa powder, salt, Guinness, vanilla and flour.
- Grease or butter an 8-inch square baking pan.
- Pour in batter and bake for 35 minutes.
- Let cool.
- Dust with powdered sugar.
