5. Frosted Flakes breaded chicken recipe
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Frosted Flakes
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
Directions:
- Heat the oven to 325 degrees F.
- In a food processor, blend the cereal into crumbs.
- In a medium mixing bowl, beat the eggs and milk until well mixed. Set aside.
- In another medium mixing bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder and black pepper until well mixed. Set aside.
- Place the cereal crumbs from the food processor into a medium mixing bowl or shallow pie plate, and set aside.
- Dip the chicken breasts into the flour mixture until coated, dip the flour-coated chicken breasts into the egg mixture, and finally, dip the flour- and egg-coated chicken breasts into the cereal crumbs.
- Place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet, and bake for 15 minutes.
