2. Cookie butter crescent rolls recipe

Yields 12

Ingredients:

  • 1 can crescent roll dough (seamless if possible)
  • 3/4 cup cookie butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk

Directions:

  1. Unroll the crescent roll on top of plastic wrap, and smooth the seams if needed.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, warm the cookie butter for 8 seconds.
  3. Spread the cookie butter evenly all over the crescent roll dough, almost to the edges but not all the way.
  4. Roll up the dough tightly.
  5. Wrap the entire roll in plastic wrap, and chill it in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  6. Heat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  7. Remove the dough roll from the refrigerator, and cut it into 1-1/2- to 2-inch slices.
  8. Place each round on a baking sheet, 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
  10. Let cool.
  11. Prepare the glaze. In a bowl, mix together the powdered sugar and milk to desired consistency.
  12. Spread the glaze over the rolls.
