5. Salted chocolate cookie butter bark recipe

Yields 20

Ingredients:

  • 9 cups chocolate chips
  • 3 cups cookie butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 6 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla
  • Pink Hawaiian sea salt

Directions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with waxed paper.
  2. Melt 1-1/2 cups of the chocolate chips, and spread it evenly over the waxed paper.
  3. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  4. In a stand mixer, combine the cookie butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder and butter.
  5. Start on low speed, and increase to medium until well combined.
  6. Remove the chocolate from the freezer, and spread the cookie butter mixture evenly over the frozen chocolate.
  7. Melt the remaining chocolate, and cover the cookie butter layer evenly with the melted chocolate, carefully smoothing the chocolate without mixing it into the cookie butter mixture.
  8. Top with the pink sea salt, as desired.
  9. Return to the freezer until firm throughout.
  10. Break apart into bite-size pieces.
