5. Salted chocolate cookie butter bark recipe
Yields 20
Ingredients:
- 9 cups chocolate chips
- 3 cups cookie butter
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 6 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
- Pink Hawaiian sea salt
Directions:
- Line a baking sheet with waxed paper.
- Melt 1-1/2 cups of the chocolate chips, and spread it evenly over the waxed paper.
- Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
- In a stand mixer, combine the cookie butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder and butter.
- Start on low speed, and increase to medium until well combined.
- Remove the chocolate from the freezer, and spread the cookie butter mixture evenly over the frozen chocolate.
- Melt the remaining chocolate, and cover the cookie butter layer evenly with the melted chocolate, carefully smoothing the chocolate without mixing it into the cookie butter mixture.
- Top with the pink sea salt, as desired.
- Return to the freezer until firm throughout.
- Break apart into bite-size pieces.
