Dark chocolate truffles recipe

Makes 6 servings, 2 truffles each

Ingredients:

  • From 1 (3.5 ounce) bar, 1/2 cup chopped Green & Black’s Organic 70% Dark Chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons finely toasted chopped almonds, powdered sugar or red and green sprinkles

Directions:

  1. Melt the chocolate.
  2. Combine the almond butter and chocolate while the chocolate is still warm.
  3. Fold in the cream until the mixture thickens.
  4. Place in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes or until the mixture is firm enough to roll.
  5. Roll into tablespoon-size balls to make 12 balls total. Then roll the balls in your choice of finely chopped toasted almonds, confectioner’s sugar or red- and green-colored sprinkles.
