The base
The easiest way to create your pizza base is to cheat! Homemade pizza bases are delicious, no doubt, but they can also be time consuming and messy to prepare.
Instead, buy some white or wholemeal pita wraps from the bread aisle of your local supermarket and use them as your pizza base. Because they’re thin, the edges crisp up beautifully in the oven, giving your pizza that authentic thin-crust taste.

Potato, rosemary and gorgonzola
Ingredients
- One small potato, thinly sliced
- 50 grams gorgonzola or blue cheese
- 1 sprig of rosemary, roughly chopped
- A handful of rocket leaves
- Shaved Parmesan
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil per pizza
Directions
- Cover pizza base with a brush of olive oil; spread with thinly sliced potato and chunks of blue cheese; sprinkle with rosemary.
- Bake in the oven until the cheese and potato is crispy and brown.
- Top with rocket leaves, shaved Parmesan, and cracked pepper.

Pumpkin, pine nuts, feta and prosciutto
Ingredients
- 150 grams of pumpkin, chopped into small chunks
- 1/5 cup of pine nuts, lightly toasted
- 100 grams of feta cheese
- 50 grams of prosciutto
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil per pizza
- Shaved Parmesan
Directions
- Oven roast the pumpkin and lightly toast the pine nuts.
- Cover pizza base with a brush of olive oil; layer the prosciutto over the pizza; spread the chunks of pumpkin and pine nuts over the top of the prosciutto; crumble the feta over the top.
- Bake in the oven until the feta is bubbling.

Ingredients
- 10 cherry tomatoes, chopped in half
- 50 grams bocconcini cheese, broken into pieces
- 50 grams mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- One small tub of tomato pizza sauce

- Cover pizza base with tomato sauce; spread the cherry tomatoes evenly across the pizza base; add bocconcini chunks; sprinkle the mozzarella/cheddar cheese over the top
- Bake for 5 to 10 minutes, until cheese is gooey and melted.

Ingredients
- 1 chicken breast, grilled and sliced
- 50 grams roasted cashews
- 50 grams mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 50 grams sundried tomotoes, chopped in half
- One small tub of tomato pizza sauce
Directions
- Cover pizza base with tomato sauce; spread with strips of sliced chicken; add sundried tomatoes and sprinkle the cashews and cheese over the top.
- Bake for 5 to 10 minutes, until cheese is melted.
