Halloween isn’t just for kids, so have fun celebrating it the grown-up way with these spookified cocktails! Make it extra spooky by adding dry ice to small containers near the bowl. The foggy effect will make the drinks even more fun!
When you are too old for a bag of candy
For a touch of Halloween whimsy, why not have an eyeball or two look back at you from your cocktail glass.
Take a canned lychee, fill the hole with a blueberry, small green grape, cranberry or piece of a ripe cherry, and you have a perfectly freaky garnish ready for the witching hour. Add a little gore factor when using a lychee cherry eye by “stabbing” it through the centre with a cocktail pick, then add it to your drink, and watch a trickle of “blood” — the cherry juice — slowly drip out. Use 12 or more lychee eyes in your favourite punch recipe, or brew up this one for a frothy green treat!
