For those who refuse to tie on an apron, this no-bake platter is for you! Simply gather your favourite fresh dessert ingredients and arrange on a large, attractive platter, and serve with sweet dessert wine. Think a fruit-based platter featuring chocolate-dipped strawberries, sliced kiwi fruit, mango, grapes and cherries, or an assortment of different cheeses like Brie, blue and aged gouda and a glass of champagne or moscato to top it all off. Cheers!

  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice

Directions:

  7. In a separate, small glass bowl, beat the two egg whites and gradually add the sugar until soft peaks form.
  8. Pour the egg white mixture on top of the condensed milk mixture to form the meringue part of the pie.
  9. Place the uncooked pie into your preheated oven and bake for approximately 10 minutes or until the egg whites are lightly browned.
