Klay Thompson's move to the Dallas Mavericks, in which he will sign as a free agent from the Golden State Warriors, was part of a multi-team sign-and-trade deal that gives Golden State two second-round draft picks and sees Josh Green head from Dallas to the Charlotte Hornets, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
In June, the Atlanta Hawks agreed to trade Dejounte Murray to the New Orleans Pelicans in a deal that includes two future first-round draft picks, sources told Wojnarowski.
Other notable moves include the Chicago Bulls sending two-time All-Defensive guard Alex Caruso to the Oklahoma City Thunder for guard Josh Giddey, sources told Wojnarowski.
Sources also told Wojnarowski that the Brooklyn Nets are trading Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks -- with the Nets getting a package that includes five first-round draft picks. The Nets also completed a separate deal with the Houston Rockets involving several future first-round picks.
