If all that isn’t enough romance for you, make use of the St. Regis butler service by organizing an in-room flower arrangement, a turndown amenity of Krug Rose Champagne and rose-scented macaroons, a customized bath menu or a couple’s massage. Rates start at $750 per night, the package is available Feb. 7-15 and a three-day advance reservation is required.

Kimpton’s Hotel Palomar Dallas has come up with a cute way to add some surprise to your Valentine’s Day getaway, especially if you’re a darts man (or woman). Guests who book a stay at the Hotel Palomar Dallas this Valentine’s Day have the chance to up the romance with a Cupid-themed game of darts at check in. Those who hit Cupid’s heart-shaped bullseye can win a room upgrade, complimentary parking, pampering at the hotel’s Exhale Spa or other love-themed freebies. Bentwood Inn has created a special Natural Valentine’s Weekend Package for couples checking in on Friday, Feb. 14, to spend two nights in alpine luxury. New York’s Library Hotel, a (you guessed it) book and library-themed property, wants to help you bring out your inner poet with its Love Poems for Two: A Couple’s Massage for the Mind and Soul package. As a result of booking this add-on to any type of stay, Karen Clark, the hotel’s Poet in Residence, will conduct a private one-and-a-half-hour poetry workshop to help couples express their love in a unique way. The poetry workshop is $125 per couple and is valid from Feb. 1 through April, National Poetry Month.
