I’ll admit to being a bit of a romantic. But I take solace in the fact that the plethora of rom-coms out there exist as proof that I am so totally far from being alone. BuzzFeed knows that no matter how grown-up or jaded a girl might be, she’ll always harbor a soft spot for the royal charm of those Disney movie princes. And, because it’s BuzzFeed, they proceed to dismantle this girlish fantasy in the funniest way possible. It turns out that dating a prince… it’s not everything it’s cracked up to be.
This video is a perfect send-up of the princely trope. I mean, can you imagine how creepy it would be to kissed awake by a stranger? That’s not romance — that’s assault, and, knowing my penchant for mace, probably the loss of the use of his eyes for a period of time.
