Oh, to be a celeb, where every millimetre of muffin top or slither of cellulite is critiqued by the world at large. Some celebrities have succeeded in achieving the body beautiful after a battle with the bulge, however. Just take a look at these weight loss success stories.

When she found fame on American Idol Jennifer was very much the larger lady. These days she’s a slender star with an Oscar, an 80 pound weight loss and a dress that’s five sizes smaller than it used to be. As a Weight Watchers spokeswoman she naturally credits the slimming service with helping her achieve her reduced size.

We first got to know Kelly as a chubby teenager but these days she’s almost half the girl she used to be. Having lost a humongous 69 pounds through cardio-focused workouts and healthy eating Kelly looks better than ever, typically intriguing choice of hair colour aside.

The famously curvaceous cook recently dropped from a size 16 to a 12, insisting an op on her bunions meant she couldn’t walk to the fridge. Other reports suggest the Bodyism Clean and Lean diet plan may also have played a part, with its focus on fresh fish, lean meats and lots of veg.
