Yoga can sometimes get a bad rep for taking itself too seriously — there’s all that heavy breathing, and what about the chanting — when really it’s anything but humorless. That’s why we love the trend of yogis taking to Snapchat to show you what their days are really like. Spoiler alert: Even famous yogis do things like eat junk food, get mad when they’re caught in the rain and curse. On the other side of the coin, they spend lots of time practicing yoga in fabulous locations, eating healthy and meditating, which is what makes them especially rewarding to follow. Here are some of the best yogis to follow on Snapchat (disclaimer: You have to add them manually by username).
1. Nor Soraya Ghazalie: @norsoraya

When she’s not seamlessly taking you through her flow or introducing you to the sights of Kuala Lumpur, Ghazalie introduces her real friends and family to her Snap fam. She’s not afraid to eat a huge dessert — our favorite kind of girl — and then do yoga to burn off the calories, of course.
2. Kino MacGregor: @kinoyoga

If you’ve been wanting to work meditation into your yoga practice, MacGregor shares reminders — not to mention gorgeous views of her home in Miami Beach, Florida — of how to get Zen each day.
3. Kerri Verna: @beachyogagirl

A fellow Miami-based yogi and co-owner of Om Stars with yogi partner in crime Kino MacGregor, Verna’s life takes her from yoga retreats to headstand challenges to, yes, even more beach-front yoga.
4. Rachel Brathen: @rachel_brathen

The queen of yoga on social media, Rachel Brathen (aka Yoga Girl) runs a yoga studio in Aruba when she’s not traveling the globe to teach sold-out workshops. Follow her for a glimpse into island life and her adorable pet goat, Penny.
5. Caitlin Turner: @gypsetgoddess

The supremely flexible yogi keeps it down to earth while giving her fans a peek into the good life, from hikes and nature walks to her favorite healthy recipes, on Snap.
6. Koya Webb: @koyawebb

The founder of the #GetLovedUp movement, Webb’s world is about “loving yourself, loving others and loving Earth.” Her snaps go beyond the Namaste vibes into one of our favorite current trends — acroyoga.
7. Kathryn Budig: @kathrynbudig

When she’s not making you laugh with chatter about her day of fitness, the best part of Budig’s Snap is her love of dogs. You almost forget she’s a yogi with more than 175,000 Instagram followers.
