The engagement ring is a timeless piece of jewelry that is supposed to transcend all trends, last a woman (and her family) forever and be passed down through the generations. All of this is true. But that doesn’t mean that there are not more popular styles, depending on when it was purchased.

My three-stone emerald cut look was different and even now, 14 years later, I watch it sparkle all the time. I love it.
Even as trends come and go, the most important thing is that the family loves the ring together. So that means whatever style appeals to you is the right one to get. After all, the hope is that this is a ring your great-great-grandchildren will pass to their great-great-grandchildren. It needs to reflect the woman wearing it as much as possible.
