Khloé Kardashian has some questionable advice for your vagina

Khloé Kardashian — like her sisters — is known for dishing out advice via her subscription-only app. Her most recent rave: Vitamin E, for everything. “Slather vitamin E oil on your face at night. It fights wrinkles, inflammation and redness — and it’s great for acne scars!” she said, according to YourTango. “I put vitamin E oil on my lashes every night, too, to keep them super-soft.”

The essential nutrient has long been touted for its health- and skin-boosting benefits, but Kardashian went off the deep end. “Add vitamin E capsules to your daily vitamin list to balance cholesterol levels, ease PMS symptoms, and improve muscle strength,” she advised.

Oh, and she thinks that adding vitamin E to your V is another must-do. “No joke: Vitamin E may strengthen vaginal lining!!! [sic] Moisturize your labia and vagina with Vitamin E oil to combat dryness and soothe irritation.”

Wait, what? This is the first I’ve ever heard of using Vitamin E on my lady parts — and there’s reason for that, according to experts.

“I would not recommend this nor is there any study that looks at this for healthy, premenopausal women,” Jen Gunter, MD, told The Daily Beast. “If you are 32 and have a dry vagina, see your doctor and try a silicone-based lube.”

Plus, our vaginas are self-cleaning machines. We don’t need to add anything to make them clean, and vitamin E certainly won’t strengthen the vaginal lining (I think she means it’ll make things tighter down there? IDK).

We love Khloé for plenty of reasons — her hustle in the gym, her healthy attitude toward dealing with an addict she loves — but we’re not in love with her dishing out sketchy advice like this.

A good rule of thumb: Problems with your vagina should only be addressed by a doctor, not a Kardashian.
