Jane Seymour’s Unfiltered Comments About Sex Redefine Our Perception of Romance at Any Age

Jane Seymour just revealed how her sex life has changed so drastically within the past year, and we love this unfiltered honesty!

In an essay for Cosmopolitan’s Sex After 60 digital issue, Seymour revealed that her sex life is the best it’s ever been at 72 with her new beau John Zambetti.

“[My sex life] right now is more wonderful and passionate than anything I ever remember because it is built on trust, love, and experience,” she said. “John was immediately exposed to who I really am. And so despite my active disinterest in romance at the time, he still appreciated me and the privilege it was to see my life.”

She added that it feels as though they’re both “16 years old and experienced” when they’re intimate together. “When there is love and intimacy, as well as a desire to find pleasure for your partner and pleasure for yourself and you can make that all happen in unison, it’s magic. Absolute magic, no matter what form it takes,” she said.

These comments are a solid reminder for fans and readers that great sex, and a great life, happen at any age. Life and amazing sex don’t end at a certain point; it can be any time, and we adore that Seymour is so open about her love life!

For those who may not know, Seymour and Zambetti confirmed their relationship back in Oct 2023.

And in a previous interview with SheKnows, Seymour talked about how women shouldn’t let their age define them. “I think it’s ridiculous. I mean, a number is a number. Your attitude towards life is what it’s all about,” she said. “I can think of some very young people who behave very, you know, old and closed off and given up. And, you know, they’re sort of nonstarters. And I can think of many people I know my age and some older who are unstoppable and you just go, ‘Wow, you know, where did you get that energy?'”
