Q: Do you believe in love at first sight?
Leo says:
I do, but in New York City it seems more like “love at first $100.” I believe you can fall in love with someone immediately. It gets harder each time it doesn’t work out, though.
Rob
says:
Yes, although I’d say it’s more like love at first sentence. There have been several girls who, when I saw them, I thought, “Wow, she’s perfect.” It wasn’t until
we started talking that I realized she couldn’t hold a conversation.
Jason says:
No, but I believe in lust at first sight. The kicker is feeling lust at first sight and turning it into love and making her feel the way she did after the first time you kissed her — but six,
nine, 12 months down the road. The perfect blend of lust and trust is love… maybe…then again, I am single, so what do I really know?
Q: What are the qualities and characteristics that make you head-over-heels for a girl rather than just a hook-up or a platonic friend?
Jason says:
Intelligence, confidence and a woman that knows what she wants both in life and in the bedroom. There is nothing sexier than a woman that has drive in all aspects of her life.
Mike
says:
Confidence goes a long way. The real good-looking girls are pains in the ass, not real confident, and all tied up in their look. The real cool girls that you want to hang out with are some times
not as easy on the eyes. If I can find a really good-looking girl that is down to earth, that would be fantastic.
Loren says:
I like sweet, compassionate, real sincere girls that are genuinely compassionate and sweet. They’re hard to find and it’s something that’s important.
Corneliu says:
Confidence. And they have to be strong – mentally, psychologically strong because it takes two to tango. If one of you falls down, the other person needs to be able to pick you up.
Q: What qualities do you look for in a woman?
Jason says:
To be honest, “qualities” is a general term. And in general (and being superficial), the qualities change. Some days, I want the power broker woman in the skirt suit, and some days, I want the
young hippie chick who only knows loving and understanding. Then you get the fun beer-drinking girl who loves old-school Chevy Chase films, and you can’t forget the woman who loves pizza, wings and
a good day of sports. These are the qualities I look for — not the qualities of a lasting relationship or someone I want to be with. Plus, these are things that I look for based on how I am
feeling each Saturday when I get up and decide where I am going for the weekend. No matter the woman, the one kicker is she has to look good in jeans and a t-shirt.
Rob says:
I know everyone is going to say personality and character, and that is mainly what I look for in women. However, there has to be that physical attraction there; otherwise, it won’t last. For
me, I also like girl who is spontaneous and willing to break the rules from time to time.
Leo says:
Personality. I love a woman who has “spunk.” You can’t be boring. I turn down boring women; I don’t care how cute you are. She also has to be able to have her own life, interests
and thoughts. I like having conversations or learning something new. She has to have an open mind in the true sense of the word.
