‘Figure skating’ balance work
Balance work is essential for enhanced athleticism and everyday well-being, improving both posture and breathing. For improved balance and working your quads, Iseghohi recommends a move he calls “figure skating.”
Begin with your left foot inside the tire and your right foot at a 45-degree angle behind you. Raise your right knee in front of you, then cross it close behind your left leg, reaching forward with your left hand to help maintain balance. Repeat. The trick is not touching the floor or the tire during the entire exercise!
Standard: 12 reps each leg
Extreme: 20 reps each leg
